John P. Gonzalez PhD, CMPP

As Director of Solanum Medical Communications, John, a UK registered pharmacist, is an experienced healthcare and medical publications professional with a proven track-record from working in medical publications ethics & policy, medical communications and professional relations.

John has contributed to raising awareness and standards in medical publishing through leadership roles working in the AstraZeneca Medical Affairs Global Publications Group. Along with other positions at AstraZeneca he was responsible for publications skills development and publications policy and also represented the company on the pharmaceutical industry Medical Publishing Insights & Practices (MPIP) Initiative Steering Committee. He has been Secretary on the ISMPP Board of Trustees and a member of the CMPP Board of Trustees.
